Running Logs

All great runners keep a running log! A running log is a journal of your running. You can write how many miles you run, how fast you run, how you feel, and many other pieces of information about your run. A running log is handy if you want to keep track of how many miles you run in a season or when it’s time to get a new pair of running shoes (after about 300 miles). It’s also a great way to help yourself stay motivated–it’s so rewarding to see those miles add up!

Here is a link to a running log form you can print out each week: Weekly Running Log (PDF file). It contains spaces to keep track of the date, distance you run, where you run (course), amount of time you ran, and some room to write a few notes.
